I write this to you sitting in our wee church with small and gorgeous group of humans who are exploring ways to co create safe and affirming sacred space in the UCA. The Daring Conference is online and in our church and we have heard reflections from folk all over Australia about feeling safe and about the gender of god and about why it matters that the rainbow flags are flying..
On Trinity Sunday we are called more than ever to see beyond the binary…as we were told very clearly by Rev Robyn Whittaker in her presentation:
The Future of the Church (and our living faith) is QUEER.
