Prayer for Open-Heartedness

Loving God,

We pray for open-heartedness. Thank you for creating us all equal in Your sight. Help us to see You and know You in ourselves, in our families and in our communities. And help us to see You and know You in others. No matter what our differences. We may look different, we have different abilities and gifts, and we come from different places. We have different orientations – geographic orientation, cultural orientation, sexual, economic, religious, and other orientations, ways of being human. Thank you for accepting and loving us all. Please help us, as we try to live Your Way, that we may accept and love each other.
